Color Off Hate!
Local artists in Topeka gathered to bring art to the community and denounce hate. In June 2020 the Santa Fe Park was vandalized with racist graffiti. Artists Jamie Colon, Andy Valdivia, and Robert Tapley Bustamante collaborated on this urban art project. The idea was to bring plenty of color to the walls. The art includes the BNSF train, a peace sign, and other works. This was made possible thanks to BNSF Rail Road, Shawnee County Parks and Recreation, and Tonantzin Society.
