  • “Our Stories: Midwest Mexican Americans During the Zoot Suit Era” event at Topeka High school and part of coordinated events leading up to THS performance of Luis Valdez’s, “Zoot Suit.”

  • “History & Representation: The Importance of Zoot Suit” lecture by KU Phd candidate, Neill Kennedy at the Topeka Shawnee County & Public Library. Part of coordinated events leading up to THS performance of Luis Valdez’s, “Zoot Suit.”

  • Co-sponsorship of “Maria the Mexican: A Benefit for Zoot Suit Play.” Fundraiser to help cover costs for THS play at Topeka High school.

  • Presentation with other Tri-directors on status of the CRP to the KSBE
